Officially my favorite winter wedding. This Newport Beach beauty hit it right on the spot with a bridal-esque fur wrap in the lightest color, and a dark fur capelet for her bridesmaids. The long light blue gowns are elegant and seasonally appropriate. I love the simple bouquets, wrapped in silver fabric. A touch of class but not over the top, this wedding was photographed by Snap! For me, a crisp icy blue is the color of January. I’m not too sure why- maybe it is the tint of snowflakes and icy drizzles. Molly and Ben were married the week before Christmas 2010. Can you imagine anything more romantic and joyful? Photographed by Meredith Perdue, the couple is absolutely radiating. After a traditional Christian ceremony (including communion!), the Bride and Groom invited everyone back to the oldest surviving early twentieth-century fair exhibition hall in North Carolina. Isn’t it beautiful? To keep with the Christmas theme, they served hot ginger toddies and an almond pound cake. This is the perfect wedding to set off the Christmas spirit with poinsettas, christmas trees, and candlelight!
