There is nothing more Texan than a bride in cowboy boots. I love when she has custom made boots with her new monogram on it! Men can get into the southern flair with belt buckles and cowboy hats- don’t be afraid to show off your heritage! This wedding comes from Southern Weddings. It is perfect for late fall Texas weather. How cute would she be wrapped in a colorful pashmina? Something to match his bow-tie! Check out more of this lovely wedding at Southern Weddings.
I’ve always dreamed of a waterfront wedding in Masachusetts. Crisp greenery, the soft smell of sea water, and perfectly nautical decor. The cape is beachy and all-american. It can be the perfect destination wedding spot, because your guests won’t have to leave the country to find a vacation. This wedding from Style Me Pretty keeps the nautical, all-american vibe through an all-white wedding party. I think it is the perfect spring wedding! The couple was married at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club and photographed by Eric Laurtis. P.S. You might have a minor meltdown over the bride’s Oscar de la Renta gown. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
I think one of the hardest parts of having a winter wedding is finding a dress that fits your season, your venue, and your budget. Kimberlynn found hers in a ball gown with cap sleeves. The sleeves make it perfectly appropriate for fall weather, and I think the simplicity makes it so elegant. She fits in perfectly with a classy winter wonderland, don’tcha think? Kimberlynn was photographed by the ever-wonderful Kari Crowe! If you live in the DFW metroplex- or anywhere else, really- check her out!
In the past bridesmaid dresses have been ill-fitting, bizarrely shaped, and weirdly colored things. Now, you can find a dress that is perfect for your wedding, and wearable after! My favorite bridesmaid dresses come from J.Crew. It is so easy to pick out your color, style, and length. The best part is that J.Crew has wedding coordinators available by phone 24/7! No question is a stupid question for them.
Dessert tables are a popular item that I think are here to say, They can be molded to any theme you have and are definitely useful. For some brides, the cake can be “rented” and the dessert table becomes very useful! Here are some ways to create a beautiful dessert table- none of which have the word economic in mind! Enjoy!

Vineyards create one of the most beautiful backdrops and Napa Valley is the king of vineyards. This Tuesday wedding is set in The Carneros Inn Wedding. Everything is so romantic, beautiful, and simple. I just can’t get over it. I really love the crispness of the green and white color combination and it is beautifully accented by a rich purple. This dreamy wedding comes from Style Me Pretty.
“Our sweet and staged proposal took place at the 6th Annual Celina Balloon Festival here in Texas. The day began with a picnic style setting of sweets. The table evoked happiness with bright flowers in turquoise mason jars, a beautiful turquoise vintage radio and yummy lollipops. This is where Tommy popped the question to his love, Cerly. From picnic baskets, globes and streamers, the shoot lacked nothing in sweetness and charm. Stationary details included letterpress cupcake toppers, bottle tags and “Fly Away With Me” banner. Once the couple finished up there, they headed to see the hot air balloon sights. They watched the sun set and cuddled as darkness fell. What a lovely couple!” From The Nest Floral Studio! Thank you!

A simple up-do or loose curls are a classic wedding staple that will never go out of style. But for some brides, classic is not their word of choice. Put your personality into your hair with braids, flowers, and combs. These looks can be as understated, or as dramatic as you please! Here are some of my favorite “hairspiration” images that I found on Pinterest!
This couple planned the most romantic wedding imaginable- just the two of them in City Hall Park. A true wedding focused on their love for one another. I’m in love with this! The bride was inspired by black and white photography and her grandmothers’ weddings. The couple planned their wedding around the city and let the setting speak for itself. They got ready together and traveled in style- with their pooch- to the City Hall Park. In a simple dress suit and a bouquet of red roses the bride looked timeless. Ahh, I love a wedding that is purely about love. The beautiful photography comes from Justin and Mary.
Going on a trip can be stressful, throw in a wedding and everyone is almost to their breaking point! Include a packing list in your wedding invitation that has all of you and your grooms trip essentials. Here is my list!
1. Matching luggage helps me stay organized. The navy blue luggage is stamped with my initials and everyone knows it’s mine. My luggage puts me in the best mood when I am packing.
2. I always feel glam when I am wearing sparkly jewelry. Pick up some wallet friendly pieces at Forever 21 that will transition you from day to night.
3. A cashmere wrap was the best gift I ever received and it keeps me cozy in the plane. It also reminds me of home when I am in a foreign hotel room.
4. Heels might be glamorous but flats are much better for the airport. They are way easier to slip on and off at airport security.
5. My favorite gadget is my iPad and I don’t go anywhere without it. Especially the airport! Find some free wi-fi and catch up on your favorite tv show while waiting for your plane.
